Zoo is the second collection of poems by the successful young British writer, Tobias Hill, to be published by Oxford University Press. Hill's nocturnal, ferret-like eye and emotional stance somewhere between distance and intimacy lend the poems in his new collection a narrative, almost conversational feel. He follows the tracks of rivers and canals, listening to the sounds of the animals in their cages at the London Zoo.
