Jens Lapidus, varför väljer du att ge ut din tredje bok som serie?

– Jag har alltid tyckt om serier och tror att kombinationen av text och bild tillför berättandet en dimension. Det går att förmedla vissa stämningar på ett lugnt men ändå dramatiskt sätt som är mycket speciellt. Dessutom är det kul att experimentera med genren och testa en ny grej. Peter Bergting är den störste i Sverige på det här, så det känns fett.

Peter Bergting, varför väljer du att ge ut en serie med Jens Lapidus?

– Att få göra en serie ihop med Jens är det ultimata samarbetet. En författare som är så berättartekniskt driven och som besitter så stort kunnande om det han skriver är drömpartnern för en illustratör. När man ger sig in i ett projekt av den här storleken måste allt stämma. Jens är en lika inbiten serieläsare som jag, vilket gjorde att alla pusselbitar föll på plats direkt. Att det dessutom är en originalhistoria gör ju inte saken sämre. Ett sådant här samarbete är unikt för Sverige, och för mig som mestadels jobbat med att ge ut serier i USA är det extra kul att få gestalta ett realistiskt Stockholm.
