Today state and private institutions must know determinants of job satisfaction: achievement, recognition, advancement, work-itself and responsibility. Factors such as low salary, method of promotion, inadequate supply of work materials, harassment from institutions management, job security and interpersonal relations cause job dissatisfaction among the employess. This study therefore sought to investigate the factors that affect job satisfaction among employees.Data was scientificaly analysed and results discussed and presented in the book. Administrators should have some understanding of the factors that influence job satisfaction and the impact it has on employees involvement.There is a close link between job satisfaction and work effectiveness. It can be argued that employees experiencing job satisfaction in most cases is effective if other factors that affect effectiveness are controlled.Satisfaction with work is important since it is connected with effectiveness, which ultimately affects achievement.This book is an asset for employers and employees in both state and private sector regardless of job grade to ensure that the primary aim of the institute is met.

There are several factors, which can positively influence internal efficiency in an organisation or institution. One of these is guidance and counselling. If repetition and dropout are indicators, guidance and counselling, therefore, have booster roles to play. Through proper guidance and counselling, students or employees who would have otherwise dropped out are retained and have success stories to tell. Guidance and counselling are needed to reduce and possibly eliminate anti-social activities in our institutions and society. There is a rising tide of unrest, gangsters, closures and lockouts in our institutions, organisations, communities and society at large. If the tempo of dialogue, proper communication, understanding, listening, Guidance and counselling is increased, there is little doubt that the tempo of crises in our society will drop. Sometimes we use argument of power instead of power of the argument. I suggest all institutions and organisations to employ counsellors to help the students and employees in counselling and most likely there will be a noticeable change in service delivery. When dealing with circumcision, it is our conviction that all human behaviours within a culture have a value for the people who originate and perpetuate the practices. It is our assumption that,for the African communities from which most of the data for the study in this book has been obtained, female circumcision has a meaning and purpose.
