Roger Stimson is an emergency-room nurse in New Orleans, trying to forget his past as an intelligence and bio-chemical officer who almost single-handedly stopped an alien invasion of Earth by the Enochians. Now, eight years later, the Enochians are back, and one alien named Dingo claims that a faction of his people wants to restart the war by assassinating the U.S. President.
