Listening at the Gate

After returning home from a self-imposed exile to avoid a forced arranged marriage, Kat finds her homeland involved in a dangerous war and so turns to Nall, a man who appeared to her from the depths of the ocean, for help in saving her brother and restoring peace to the place she loves.
