A Week With Gandhi

This book is a journal of the author's one-week experience with Mahatma Gandhi in India. The account narrates the story of Louis Fischer, an American journalist, who travelled from America to Wardha and spent a week with Gandhi. His narrative includes a brief description of his travel, his time in India, and the conversations he had with the Mahatma along with other eminent people. The book also gives a peek inside the life in India during 1942 with its political and economic conditions. The latter part of the book contains pictures including some of the author's photographs with Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
