After winning the War of Terran Aggression in 2064 with the help of an AI and some uplifted Dogs, and escaping to Mars in the Long Trek, the libertarian rebels of Aristillus have settled down on Mars to live the good life: which means, among other things, a bit of a baby boom.

The free-range kids of Aristillus are always on the look-out for another adventure - ideally one that involves computer programming, building contraptions, and monkeying about with CNC machines and 3-D printers.
