Четверо давніх університетських друзів вирішують відсвяткувати зустріч випускників і вирушають у похід запаморочливими пейзажами Швеції. В какой-то момент, в попытке срезать дорогу, они сворачивают в поросший многовековыми елями лес и теряют нужное им направление, углубляясь все глубже в чащобу. На третий день блужданий по лесу им попадается дерево, на котором жестоко распят какой-то лесной зверек. Затем они натыкаются на заброшенный дом, чердак которого служит убежищем для чучела какого-то отвратительного создания, и полуразрушенную церковь, подвал которой забит костями давно убитых людей. Lost, hungry and surrounded by forest untouched for millennia, they stumble across an isolated old house. Inside, they find the macabre remains of old rites and pagan sacrifices; ancient artefacts and unidentifiable bones. A place of dark ritual and home to a bestial presence that is still present in the ancient forest, and now they’re the prey.
