The Bobs are at it again: exploring the universe, playing around with VR, babysitting the human race. There's a lot more going on, some of the stuff has truly epic proportions and possibly disastrous concequences, but I'm trying to make this review spoiler-free :)
One of the things I love about the Bobiverse books is that, even though they are not thrillers, there is always an element (or a few!) of suspence and mystery. Will the Bobs be able to get the remnants of the human race off the Earth in time? What's up with the Others? What happened to Bender? etc. There are quite a few of these mysteries and suspenseful moments in this book, which I enjoyed.
It feels a little bit like "prepping for the even more epic things to come in future books", but, oh well, you can't get to truly epic…
